Malakai Sebastian Malm

February 14, 2005 — August 2, 2025

Pocatello

Malakai Sebastian Malm passed away unexpectedly August 2, 2025. Malakai was born on February 14, 2005 to Alexis Malm and Darrell Foxx.

He was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho and was, from the get-go, a prankster. He would do anything in his power to make those around him laugh or bring a smile to their face. From a young age, he was always adventurous. He would do things like intentionally roll himself down the stairs and as the family held our breaths, we waited for the “I’m ok”.

Malakai went to Ellis and Washington Elementary School, Franklin Jr High, Century High School, then graduated from New Horizons. Malakai was so proud of himself graduating High School and went around telling everyone “I made it”.

In Malakai’s spare time from working with School District 25 and mowing lawns for Phoenix Management, he loved to play video games with his cousins and sister, go swimming, tinkering with anything he could tear apart and put back together especially his car, going camping, going with his dad to hang out with extended family while riding motorcycles, and hanging out with friends or family.

Malakai not only was an amazing friend, son, cousin, and nephew but he was a father. On July 3rd, 2022, Shayne Kropp gave birth to his daughter Hope Juliet Kropp. He was a beaming father and was always quick to show off his daughter’s picture to anyone that would look.

Malakai is survived by Alexis Malm and William Kraus (mom), Darrell Foxx (dad), Hope Kropp (daughter), Nakiya Malm and Ryan McCann (sister and brother-in-law), Amber Rowberry and Bryan Rowberry (aunt and uncle), Gage Rowberry (cousin), Kaiden Rowberry (Cousin), Tiffney Vincent (aunt), Breena Vincent (cousin), Rayne Vincent (cousin), Steven Sandman (uncle), Isssac Sandman (cousin), Taylor Sandman (cousin), Martell Malm (grandfather), and so many more. Malakai is preceded in death by Cynthia Malm (grandma), and Douglas Malm (great grandpa).
