Marcia Dawn Roberts, 71, passed away January 28, 2026.

Marcia Dawn Roberts (Haskett) (age 71), of Pocatello, ID, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 9, 1954 in Pocatello, Idaho to Donald Seth Haskett and Wilda Mae Haskett (Packer Evans). She is survived by her siblings (Wallace (Sonya), Dennis (Vera), Julia (Dan)), children (Angela, Melaunie (Jessie), as well as five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Marcia worked hard, played hard, and loved hard. As a single mother, she worked multiple jobs and attended college. After many years of hard work and dedication she earned a Master’s Degree in social work. She was very proud of this accomplishment and really valued being able to help so many people in need over the years. She kept her continuing education courses current and was still a licensed counselor at the time of her death.

One of her many joys was traveling. Marcia went on several cruises and had great experiences visiting places like Mexico, Canada, and the Bahamas. She lived in several different places including Germany, Wyoming, Washington, and Virginia. You could always depend on her to join a road trip and provide entertainment and support along the way.

Her number one priority was family and friends. Her love cast a wide net by always making others feel special. Phone calls to check in, mailed letters and cards, handmade crafts, random ‘just because’ gifts, …. the list of ways in which she expressed love is endless.

A celebration of life will be held at Upper Ross Park in Pocatello on Friday, July 10, 2026.
