Margie Magagna

Margie Magagna, 91, of Pocatello Idaho passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, with four of her children by her side.

Margie was born on March 28, 1934 ,in Red Lodge Montana to Pauline and Michael Bartolic. Her family moved to Rock Springs Wyoming when she was three years old where she and her six siblings enjoyed the heyday of a boom town, multi-cultural experience of a mining community.

While working as a car hop Margie met Fred Magagna, whom she would marry in 1955. They moved from Wyoming to Pocatello in 1961 where they raised five children. Fred and Margie maintained a loving and supporting marriage until Fred’s passing in 2006.

Margie delighted in good mystery novels, old movies, car rides, working in her garden, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service was held Mountain View Cemetery with her immediate family on Monday September 8.
