Mary Jo Sibbett, 72, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 6, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri. Three-week-old Mary Jo arrived to her forever parents, Mary and Russell Sibbett, where she assumed the role of middle child. Mary, her parents, and siblings, Barbara and Mike, lived in Grays Lake, Idaho. She spent many of those days doing what she loved most, riding horses and enjoying life on their ranch.
Mary graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1971. From there, she went on to work many jobs, one of those being the custodial foreman with Pocatello Chubbuck School District #25, where she dedicated 30.5 years of hard work before she retired in 2016.
Mary married Jay Ingram in 1972. They had 4 children, Brandy (Sean) Lewis, Misty Hayes, Heather Ingram, and Jason Ingram. Later, they divorced and Mary had her second son, Russell Martin. Mary’s love for her children and family was deep and selfless. She found joy in serving those she loved, whether through her cooking, her time, or her quiet sacrifices.
Some of her hobbies included crocheting, embroidery, sewing, reading, shopping, and spending summers back at her family home.
Mary is lovingly survived by her children, Brandy, Misty, Jason and Russell, as well as her sister, Barbara Campell and brother, Mike (Joyce) Sibbett. She also leaves behind 9 cherished grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Her love and legacy live on through each generation of her family.
The family will be honoring Mary Jo by lovingly sending her home to Gray’s Lake, a place that held her heart and memories.
