Maureen Kay Withem

Maureen “Kay” Withem, 75, peacefully passed away on December 30, 2024, in Pocatello, Idaho. 

She was born on March 16, 1949, to Willard Atkinson and Norma Sullivan Atkinson in Pocatello, Idaho.

Kay met the love of her life, James Withem after she rescued his dog in a snowstorm. They spent many, many, wonderful years together. 

Kay worked outside the home off and on, but was most proud of her family and being home with them. 

She had many health struggles, but Kay never let that put a damper on things. She loved to go fishing, spend time in the mountains, and also watch Star Trek. 

Kay is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sweetheart, James, her three children and two grandchildren.
