Meranda Mae Jablonski

April 12, 1949 — March 12, 2026

Pocatello

Meranda “Randee” Ruff Jablonski, 76, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, into the loving presence of her Savior and Lord, and into the joyful embrace of family members and friends who preceded her.

Randee was born April 12, 1949, in American Falls to Albert and Erna Stuber Ruff. She spent her early school years in Aberdeen and later attended high school in American Falls, graduating with the Class of 1967.

Following graduation, Randee attended Idaho State University, where she earned a certificate in secretarial training. On August 31, 1968, she married the love of her life, Dennis Jablonski of Pocatello. Just three weeks after their wedding, Dennis received orders to report to Kadena Air Base in Okinawa. The couple began their married life overseas, enjoying nearly two years together before being reassigned to Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio.

While living in Texas in 1970, Randee and Dennis welcomed their first son, Michael. After Dennis completed his enlistment, the family returned to Pocatello so Dennis could continue his education at Idaho State University and be closer to family. Their family grew with the birth of their second son, Eric, in July 1974, and their third son, Brian, in January 1978.

Randee loved her family more than anything. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her.

As her boys grew older, Randee began working at Pocatello Dental Group when the newly constructed Pine Ridge Mall opened. Soon after, she was invited to work with Dr. Gene Hoge at his dental practice. She loved her work and formed many lifelong friendships with patients, caring for them as if they were family. When Dr. Hoge retired, Randee continued working with Dr. Jason Mauseth until her retirement, serving the community for nearly 30 years.

Randee was also her sons’ biggest supporter, faithfully cheering them on in school and sports. During those busy years she sold Avon, earning numerous Albee awards for her dedication and success. Later, she also enjoyed selling Mary Kay products.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Erna Ruff; her brother and sister-in-law Roy and Betty Ruff; her brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Bettilee Ruff; her sister and brother-in-law Frieda and Jim Pahl; and her beloved grandson, Kayleb Jablonski, son of Mike and Tammy.

Randee is survived by her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Dennis Jablonski; their three sons, Mike (Tammy), Eric (Maggie), and Brian; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory always.

A celebration of Randee’s life will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilks Funeral Home, with Dr. Gene Hoge officiating. Please dress in a Hawaiian theme.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers who lovingly cared for Randee over the past three years, including Cornerstone Home Care; Audrie and Jennifer; the staff at Copper Summit Assisted Living—Candace, Becky, Ally, Crissy, Ammon, and others; Joyce Foster of The Gables Assisted Living and Memory Care; Heritage Home Health and Hospice; Dr. Fenstermaker; Rene; Madalina; and many others. A special thank you is given to Randee’s nurse, Lane, whose compassionate care and unwavering support meant so much to Randee, Dennis, and the entire family.

Randee will be remembered for her deep love of family, her kindness to everyone she met, and the quiet strength and faith that guided her life. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
