Mildred E. Lewis, age 52, of San Bernadino, California, passed away at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Mildred lived a live filled with love, resilience, and quiet strength.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Sasha Adams; her long-time spouse, Jason Smith; her brother, John Lewis; and her two beautiful grandchildren, Aurora Medford and Anakin Adams, who were the light of her life.

Mildred was preceded in death by her father, Albert John Lewis and mother, Roberta Gay Lewis.

A proud graduate with a bachelor’s degree in law, Mildred dedicated her life to hard work and led with compassion and integrity. Her family was endlessly proud of her many accomplishments – especially her strength and determination in quitting smoking, a true testament to her perseverance.

Mildred had a gentle spirit and a heart that loved deeply. She enjoyed the simple joys of life: creating diamond paintings and watching her favorite shows on repeat. Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her daughter and grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering love for her family and the way she wore her heart on her sleeve. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Private services will be held by the family. Any donation to help with the unexpected passing of Mildred can be made directly to the funeral home.
