Nathan Allen passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, surrounded by his family. He had a very strong heart and was a fighter until the very end. Nathan was born in Soda Springs, Idaho on December 3, 1960. He was the third child of Ray and Carol Allen. He had 3 brothers Kip, Kevin and Mike and 2 sisters Adele and Sheri. He had close relationships with all his siblings, and they all got along well. He had a very enjoyable childhood and really enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. After graduating high school, he married Jodi Carlsen. In 1984 they had a son, Jason, and in 1985 they had a daughter, Amanda. Nathan became a licensed journeyman electrician, and it was a job he absolutely loved. He moved to Nevada in 1988 and worked in the gold mines as an electrical foreman. He got remarried to Donna Tyler and in 1998 his second son Jacob was born.

Nathan loved his children wholeheartedly and raised them to be good, intelligent and amazing people. Family was always the most important thing to him. He thoroughly enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, arrowhead hunting and collecting crystals. He always believed in being a genuinely good person and was always willing to help others whenever he could. He was very kind and generous and was always willing to listen and gave great advice. He was a journeyman electrician for 40 years and enjoyed all the unique experiences and workplaces that came with it. He was always passionate about his work and strived to do the very best job he could. He was a trained shaman and loved to play Native American flute and drum music. He always enjoyed hiking and hunting for arrowheads with his grandsons and his loving dog Zeke. He had 3 wonderful grandsons, Brooklyn, Keston and Quinton, a granddaughter Hailee and 1 great grandson Azay. He also had a son-in-law Steve that he really respected and admired. He never missed a chance to tell his family that he loved them and was very proud of the people his children and grandchildren had become. He was an amazing father and grandfather and a wonderful brother to his siblings. He was a good friend to his friends and maintained strong relationships with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edith and Ariel Allen and Flora and Warren Henderson, his parents Ray and Carol Allen and his granddaughter Elaine Allen. He is survived by his three children Jason, Amanda (Steve) and Jacob, his grandsons Brooklyn (Mya), Keston and Quinton, his granddaughter Hailee and his great grandson Azay. He is also survived by his siblings Kip (Daphne), Adele, Sheri, Kevin (Pam) and Mike (Holly) and his 13 nephews and 2 nieces. A celebration of life for Nathan will be announced by his children at a later.
