Nina “Kay” Parks, 79, passed away on January 5, 2024.
Kay was born on May 29, 1944, in Santa Monica, California, to Kenneth Judd and Nina Shaw. She attended college at Brigham Young University. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lima, Peru, which also covered Bolivia and Chile.
Kay married Herman Parks on May 4, 1968.
She enjoyed girls camp, and she also loved to sing and write poetry. She loved crafting, card making, scrapbooking, and music.
Kay is survived by her husband, Herman Parks; children, April (Steve) Scism, Ken (Mindy) Parks, Robert (Becky) Parks, Karen Parks, Ben Parks, Andy (Kendra) Parks, Rickard (Kelli) Parks, Henry Parks; sisters, Marily Harmon, Diana Munz, Barbra Goodale, Lola Stewart, Betty Barbic, Debra Barbic, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Nina Judd.
