Olen "Butch" Perry, 80, passed away on September 2, 2024.

Butch was born in Hope, Arkansas on July 11, 1944, to Wilbur and Eva Perry. They moved to California when he was a small child. 

Butch began working for the Railroad in 1974 and worked there until his retirement in 2004.

In 1964, Butch married the love of his life, Betty, in 1964 in Reno, Nevada. They enjoyed 60 beautiful years of marriage together.

Throughout his life, Butch enjoyed fishing, camping, football, boating, swimming, country rides, going on vacation, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his dear wife, Betty Perry of Pocatello, ID; daughters, Lena (JD) Scott of Pocatello, ID and Debbie (Chris) Bingle of Pocatello, ID; two grandchildren, Amanda Bingle and Andrew Scott, and two great grandchildren, Risan and Adi Scott.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie and Buddy Perry, and his sister, Patsy Houseman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID.  A viewing will be held one hour prior beginning at 1:00 pm.  A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
