Patricia McCardell Duncan

Patricia Diane McCardell Duncan “Mac,” 81, peacefully passed away at her home in Pocatello on Friday, November 22, 2024.

She was born on August 5, 1943, to Gladys Fern Harris McCardell and Keith Bronson McCardell in Pocatello, Idaho.

“Mac” had a love of learning but found her knack to be nursing. She thrived, encouraged others to pursue, supported young women in college and embodied the meaning serving others. She was a giver through and through. There were always extra family members and friends in her home Mac was helping and she loved every minute of it.

Mac would go on to also obtain degrees in Business and Human Resources.

She loved riding horses and would often be found riding with her daughter, Lynda. Mac also loved taking care of her oldest daughter, GarriLyn.

Around the hills of her property would grow her favorite flower that she loving called “Johnny Pop-ups”

Mac’s passing will leave a hole that many will feel. She was so deeply loved.

A graveside service will be held for Mac on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2864 S 5th Ave, Pocatello ID).
