Paul B. Rademacher

d. January 22, 2015

Paul Brian Rademacher, 53, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Portneuf Medical Center. He was born on October 28, 1961 in Pocatello, Idaho to Eugene Anthony Rademacher and Wanda Arvilla Thorton (Rademacher). He was the 8 th and last child of this family. He grew up on South Bannock Highway where he was able to have fun with his siblings and friends in climbing the mountains, fishing and swimming in a local river. Following the example of his older brothers, he spent many hours searching the river and fields for golf balls to earn extra money. After graduating from Pocatello High school, Paul worked at the Sea Galley/Red Lobster and a few other local restaurants as a cook/chef. Paul really did enjoy cooking. At the family dinners, he liked to help cook especially on the grill. Later on, after moving to Boise, he worked in the cleaning business and with the help of his brother, Dennis, he started a cleaning business of his own. He had an interesting way of cleaning the kitchen floor. He would spray it with water from the sink sprayer and then mop it up. He later worked for Micron Technologies and did landscaping while in Boise. Paul married Dawn Marie Mosher in 1988 in Pocatello, ID. To this union was born Patrick Eugene Rademacher, in Pocatello. They were later divorced. Paul then married Dawnelle Tamblyn in 1995 in Pocatello. He had two boys from this marriage, Brian Paul Rademacher and Cory Allen Rademacher. They later divorced. Paul loved to create things out of nothing which he was really good at. He loved to draw and make Knick knacks out of things like tree stubs. He was also good at silver smithing, making rings, bracelets, etc In his middle years he developed liver cancer and fought this battle for many years. He had many trips to the hospital in very serious condition, but he always managed to make it home again. His liver finally gave out on January 22, 2015, when he was called home to be with his parents and other family members. Paul was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During his last four years, he was an active member of his church and served in various callings with joy. He is survived by his three sons, Patrick Eugene, Brian Paul, and Cory Allen Rademacher; brothers, Norman Eugene (Julie), Steven Terry (Debbie), Larry James, Dennis John (Joan), Mark Andrew; and sister, Sharon Lee Van Buren (Frank). He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Anthony and Wanda Arvilla; and his brother, Bruce James (Katie). A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 208-233-1500 Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11 AM at the Alameda LDS 4 th ward building, 1440 E.
