Phillip Robert Johnson passed away on May 28, 2023. He was born on May 7, 1949, in Wendell, Idaho to Pearl and William Johnson. He spent time living in Idaho, California, Washington, Alaska, and Arizona.
After high school, Phillip joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam war. He returned home for his new adventure of building his family and his career.
Phillip enjoyed his career at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and all the friends that he made over those 35 years. He enjoyed reading, riding his Harley, washing his truck, and spending time with his family, and of course, his cup of coffee. He also had a newfound love in his French Bulldog, T-Bone.
Phillip is survived by his sons, Todd Johnson (Karen) and Corey Johnson both of Pocatello, ID; his daughters, Amber Cose (Matthew) of Pocatello, ID, and Michelle Thomas (Matthew) of Helena, MT; brother, Lynn Johnson; and his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Johnson, sons, Travis Johnson, and Cody Johnson, as well as his many brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 6 pm at The Purpose Building, 224 N. Main Street in Pocatello, Idaho.
