Randell “Randy” Scott Case, born May 29, 1978, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the age of 47. He was adored and loved by many and is survived by his children, Brynlee and Kaiden Case, brother Aaron Godfrey, and mother, Glenda Wilburn, as well as his beloved aunts and uncles, Mark and Becky Mountaintes and Norman and Sunny Sward.
Randy was born in San Diego, California, but raised primarily in Pocatello, Idaho and Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Jenks High School, he proudly served in the United States Navy where he was stationed in Hawaii and deployed to Iraq during Operation Desert Fox. His time in the Navy shaped his courage, discipline and love for adventure.
Following his service, Randy returned to Pocatello, Idaho and met the love of his life, Misty Olmsted, whom he later married and had two wonderful children. During this time he attended Idaho State University earning a degree in mechanical engineering. Randy’s passions ran deep, he loved the outdoors- hiking, camping, fishing and above all, his immense love for his family.
Family and friends will remember Randy, not only for his passionate love and faith in God, but also for a witty sense of humor, his down-to-earth outlook on life, and the embodiment of love for his family, no matter what.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID and will be laid to rest at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot. A reception will follow.
A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date for his friends and family in Oklahoma.
