Randy Wahlon Quinn

June 11, 1952 — November 26, 2025

Chubbuck

Randy Wahlon Quinn, 73, a beloved husband, father, and friend to all, passed away at home on November 26, 2025.

Randy was born in Pocatello to Wahlon and Donna Quinn. He and his five siblings grew up in Pocatello where they helped grow food for the family dinner table in their large garden. Randy excelled in every sport he played and in fixing things, especially anything on wheels.

After graduating from Pocatello High School, Randy proposed to his high school sweetheart Joyce Wilkey on Valentine’s Day. They were married on April 2, 1971, in the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple. Over the years they were blessed with six children and Randy’s entire life was dedicated to providing and caring for his family, who were his greatest joy. His most treasured memories included hunting with his brothers, Sunday dinners with his children, and family reunions with everyone gathered together. The last of these family reunions took place just a few months before his passing where he commented that being together as a family was “just like heaven.”

When not spending time with his family, Randy worked as a mechanic at Hirning and in the sales and service departments at Lithia, as well as at Lowe’s. Known for his warm smile and quiet service, he was often seen refereeing sporting events and serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He knew just about everybody in Pocatello.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Joyce Mabel Quinn; his six children, Bill Eugene Quinn, Bob Lynn Quinn, Marsha Jo Millward, Brian James Quinn, Michelle Quinn Winters, and Melissa Kaye Quinn; his siblings Patty May, Ed Quinn, Terry Quinn, Scott Quinn, and Gina Rohr-Quinn; and 16 grandchildren: Savannah Kaye Quinn, Matthew Bill Quinn, Johnathan Val Quinn, Kyle Wahlon Quinn, Caleb Samuel Quinn, Michael Benjamin Millward, Abram James Millward, Ava Elizabeth Millward, Elsie Jo Millward, Hyrum Randy Quinn, Maxwell David Quinn, Emmaline Mandela Quinn, Russell James Quinn, Jacob Alfred Quinn, Rose Michelle Winters, and Lucy Quinn Winters.
