Robert Jay Moldenhauer

Robert Jay Moldenhauer was born on October 20th, 1964. Robert passed away on July 11th, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born to Gary and Jill Moldenhauer in Los Angles, California. At the age of 2 Robert, his brother, sister and mom moved to Michaud Flats, Arbon Valley Id. He was raised in Idaho. Starting at the age of 12, he worked in the potato business, including as a business owner.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Jill and Gary, his grandmother Elizabeth Pond, and other aunts and uncles. His is survived by his wife, LeeAnn; his children Rob, Travis, Alexis (Russ), Anzie (Jessie), and Boyd (Samatha); his grandchildren Jayvon (Jullia), Isabella, McKayla, Kelton, Hayden, Kyah, Owen, Preslie, Renleigh, Lilly, Brenlie, Grayson, and Aubree; and his great-granddaughters Jade, and Myla; his siblings Allen, his twin Kathy (Houston), Cody (Jo), and John; and his stepmom Sonja.

Robert graduated from American Falls High School in 1983. After graduating from high school Robert married his first wife, Pauline, and had their son, Rob. He later married Dawn and had their children, Travis and Alexis. Then he married LeeAnn, and he expanded his family with LeeAnn’s children in Anzie and Boyd. Robert spent most of his days working on the farm either in the fields or the shop. In his spare time enjoyed going to Island Park, spending time with his family and snowmobiling. Later he traded his snowmobiles in for his Harley Davidson and enjoyed going on rides with his friends. Robert and LeeAnn enjoyed their yearly trip to Mexico. They spent many summers out at Seagull Bay and Mackay camping and enjoying time with friends and family.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held from 12:00 - 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Seagull Bay Yacht Club, 2594 Seagull Bay Road, American Falls, ID. Please come and share memories about Robert.
