Ronald Pabian

Ronald Pabian, age 82 of Pocatello, ID, formerly of Gary, passed away on June 28, 2017. He was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School, Class of 1952, and was a graduate of Idaho State University, Class of 1959. Ron taught history at Hawthorne Jr. High School from 1959 until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of St. Anthony Church in ID. He was preceded in death by his parents- Frank and Helen Pabian; brother- Richard (late Carol); sister- Dolores (late William) Vullmahn. Ron is survived by his sister- Marilyn (Donald) Shafchuk; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service Friday July 7, 2017 beginning with prayers at 10:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, proceeding to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 200 E. 78th Ave, Merrillville, IN for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Rev. James Meade officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Portage IN. Friends may visit with Ron's family at Burns on Thursday July 6, 2017 from 2- 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m
