Roxane Cornell

Roxane Cornell, 65, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with complications from PKD.

Born on January 10, 1960, to Dorothy and Thomas Clyne, Roxane was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life. She is now reunited with her beloved parents, who preceded her in death. Roxane is survived by her devoted husband, Troy Cornell; her five children, Megan Daniels (Bryant), Evan Cornell (Karlie), Cody Cornell (Jennifer), Autumn Guinn (Jared), and Morgan Snarr (Carson); and her twenty cherished grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Roxane is also survived by her siblings, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A proud graduate of Nampa High School, Roxane’s journey of love and family began when she met her soulmate, Troy, on a blind date. Their love story unfolded at a local movie theater where Roxane’s radiant smile and infectious charm captured Troy’s heart. They were married on May 16, 1981, and later sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Roxane found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially camping and cooking for her family. Throughout the years, she explored many hobbies, including sewing and jewelry making. Her greatest pride and happiness came from her family. She loved nothing more than planning events that brought everyone together, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Wilks Funeral Home in Pocatello, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. A family luncheon will be held afterward at the LDS Butte Building, 2300 Butte St, Pocatello, ID.

Roxane’s warmth, infectious laugh, and deep love for her family will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and faith will live on through the countless lives she touched.
