Scott J Breslin

Jul 8, 1967 — Jun 27, 2026

Scott Breslin, born on July 8, 1967, in Fullerton, California, passed away on June 27, 2026, in McCammon, Idaho. His life was defined by service, adventure, loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people he loved.

From a young age, Scott carried a steady sense of responsibility and courage that led him into a career in law enforcement. He served as a police officer with pride and integrity, later continuing his commitment to public safety as a security guard at Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. It was there that he met Amber, the woman who would become his wife. They shared 20 years of marriage, building a life filled with humor, resilience, and unwavering partnership.

Scott later joined the U.S. Marshals Service as a security guard at the Federal Courthouse, where he formed lasting friendships — including a close bond with his good friend David Merchant, who remained an important part of his life.

Scott had a rare ability to make friends wherever he went. He connected easily, remembered people’s stories, and made others feel seen. Those friendships stretched across states, workplaces, and decades, each one a testament to his kindness and authenticity.

Though he faced significant medical challenges, Scott refused to let them define him. He lived boldly and with intention. He traveled widely, sought out new experiences, and even went cage diving with great white sharks — a story he loved to tell. His passion for fishing took him to Alaska with his friend Kent, where the wilderness gave him both peace and excitement.

A devoted hockey fan, Scott never missed a chance to cheer for the Kings. Whether watching from home or talking stats with friends, hockey brought him joy and connection.

Above all, Scott’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his wife Amber, and his two children, Grace and John, who will carry forward his strength, humor, and love. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the friendships he nurtured, and the memories he created with those who knew him best.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 596 N Marsh Creek Road, McCammon, ID.
