Sharon Louise Engelking

Sharon Louise Engelking, 88, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her residence.

Sharon was born in 1938 in Lindsay, California. During her childhood, she traveled extensively throughout California with her father as he served in ministry. After graduating from high school, Sharon settled in the Sacramento area and attended San Jose Bible College for one year.

Sharon and Candice “Candi” Conner were partners since 1987 and were married in 2013. Sharon was a faithful San Francisco 49ers fan for more than 60 years, beginning with attending games at Kezar Stadium. She had an incredible knowledge of football, baseball, and women’s sports and could talk about the games and players for hours. Candi was always her sounding board, especially when Sharon had something to say about something that did not go her way.

Sharon was also a devoted animal lover and cherished her beloved fur babies throughout the years.

She is survived by her wife, Candice “Candi” Conner of Twin Falls, Idaho, and her niece, Shelly Keller of Casper, Wyoming.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Carlyle and Alfa; her sisters, Shirley and Grace; her brother, Sam; and her beloved fur babies, Gillis, Zachary, Baxter, Hondo, Penny, and PJ.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Visions Hospice and Visions Care for the special care Sharon received during the last year and a half of her life. Special thanks go to Jean, Jayme, Carly, and Sheri for their kindness and compassion. The family also expresses sincere gratitude to Stephanie at Visions Care for providing care for Sharon, assisting with the home, and providing respite care for Candi during her absence.

Sharon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
