Sheila Ann Taylor

Sheila Ann Taylor of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, surrounded by family.

Sheila Ann Taylor (Egbert) was born on June 20, 1933, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Joseph Robert and Anna Marie Egbert. She was 4th of 8 children and found much joy and lasting friendships with her siblings. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1951.

She married Eldred (Eddie) Dean Taylor on June 26, 1952. They had 6 beautiful children: Thomas Eldred, Wendy (Toomey), Samuel Dean, Daniel Ross, Casen Len, and Anna Marie (Rees). She was a doting mother and built a home filled with love, laughter, service, and home cooked meals.

Sheila lived a life dedicated to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She served diligently and tirelessly in different organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She welcomed everyone in to her home with acceptance, support, and genuine interest. Everyone knew they were loved by this sweet lady.

Sheila was a world-class quilter, just like her mother. Every wedding and birth was celebrated with a new blanket. She will be revered for her gift of building and loving everyone she met. Her hugs were warm, and her love was unconditional. “Be happy!”

Sheila is survived by her children Wendy (Toomey), Sam, Dan, Casey, and Anna Marie. She is also survived by her brother Jay Egbert.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID. A visitation will be held prior beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
