Sherri Ann Christensen

Sherri Ann Christensen, 64, passed away on May 11, 2026.

Sherri was born in Pocatello, Idaho on July 6, 1961, to Bill and Betty McCarty. She had a brother Mike and a sister Terri. She attended grade school through high school in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School in 1979.

She married Marvin Christensen in 1979, and they were married for 47 years. She attended ISU vocational to become a Dental Assistant and obtained her certificate in 1983. She had her own cleaning business for many years. Sherri and Marvin had a son named Bryan born on March 27, 1986. She continued her cleaning business with her sister Terri until 2005. She then drove a school bus until 2008 when she was injured and had to retire.

She loved boating, snowmobiling, camping, and any sandy beach. Her faith was very important to her and gave her life to Jesus at the age of 25. The last 2 years of her life she took up jewelry making. She never sold anything; she gave it all away to people who got to know her just to see them smile.

She is with her Lord and Savior now.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Calvary Alliance Church, 800 Marinus Lane, Pocatello, ID. Viewings will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 21 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID and prior to the service on Friday at the church, beginning at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S 5th Avenue, Pocatello, ID.
