Shirley Lillian Beck

Shirley Ross Beck, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2025, in Aberdeen.

Born in Rupert, Idaho on July 7, 1938, Shirley was the youngest of four children to John and Lillian Ross.

Shirley enjoyed 87 full years of life, rich with family, faith, and fun. She loved playing softball, singing, water skiing, and snow skiing. She was active in her community and always ready to serve. She married her high school sweetheart, sharing just shy of 69 years of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion.

Survived by her husband Jay; children, Shane, Cindy (Dave) Johnson, Sandra (Tim) Anderson, Brian (Flor), Joy; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Larry & (Carla), parents, John and Lillian Ross, and her siblings.

A viewing will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025 at the LDS Church, 149 W. Central Ave, Aberdeen, ID. Another viewing will be held at 10 a.m.to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday, December 13, 2025 also at the LDS Church. Interment will follow at the Aberdeen Cemetery.
