Suzanne Teeter, 68, passed away on May 22, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1958, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Hod and Beth Schuyler. She grew up in Filer, Idaho and graduated from Filer High School in 1976 “Go Wildcats!” She had 1 brother, Steve Schuyler, and 1 sister, Carol.
Suzanne married the love of her life, Rodney Teeter, on July 10, 1981, after dating for 7 months.
Sue loved to make quilts and loved to sew, spending many hours in her sewing room. She was incredibly proud to have made her own wedding dress. Most of her quilts were given away to people she loved. She also earned many first place ribbons for her quilts. She has made and donated quilts to the Angels with Santa for the past two years, which were raffled off. She was in the process of making a very complicated quilt upon her passing, which she never got to see finished.
Sue worked for Albertson’s for 24 years before becoming disabled in 2002. She earned a black belt in Tai Kwando. She was a member of Rocky Mountain Ministries in Pocatello, Idaho. She was an awesome dancer, and she and Rod won some dance contests together. Sue also enjoyed making jewelry. She loved to go to benefit auctions. She loved to ride her horse, Jack, when she felt good, and she would put her portable oxygen in a backpack and her grandson, Lane, or her husband would saddle Jack for her and away she would go with a big smile on her face.
Above all else, she loved spending time with and serving her family.
