Tena Richardson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tena Richardson, who departed from this life on December 26, 2025 at the age of 63. 

Tena was born to Julia and Dennis Dye on November 11, 1962 in Rose Idaho. Tena's family moved to Pocatello Idaho in 1965 where she spent her formative years. Tena graduated from Highland high school at the age of 18. From her first marriage, Tena was blessed with her children Gordon McLean and Tara McLean. 

She Married Phil Richardson on may 28, 1990 where she gained two daughters Casie And Jenny Richardson. They later welcomed their daughter Ashley Richardson into the family. 

Tena's favorite hobby was taking care of everyone. She loved camping, sewing and pranking anyone. She especially cherished spending time with her family at the Blackfoot river or anywhere they were together. 

Tena was preceded in death by Julia, Dennis and Lanae Dye, Bryce Millward, John Smedley, Dell Millward, Jim and Winona Eiman and Ross Richardson. 

She is survived by her husband, Phil Richardson, children Casie (Kyle) Heiner, Gordon McLean (Erin), Jenny (Brian) Kirkham, Tara (Chase) Cole and Ashley (Jordan) Maag. Siblings Art Dye, Terri Oborn, Mark Dye, Jason Dye, Cody Millward, Jynnae Smedley, Annique Dayley and Curtis Millward. Tena left behind 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her! 

The family would like to thank everyone that let Tena help them in someway bringing her great joy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 450 James Street in Chubbuck, Idaho. A viewing will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Wilks Funeral Homes 211 W. Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID 83202. Burial will follow the service at the Firth Cemetery.
