Teresa Ann Mauch

Teresa Ann Mauch, age 79, was born September 26, 1946, in American Falls, Idaho to Rozella and Ken Kendall. On Friday, January 30, 2026, she took her last breaths peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by ones she loved dearly.

Her life was defined by loyalty, patience, love, and understanding. She had a heart for others, always putting family first, especially when it came to her son Sydney, and her only two granddaughters, Dezi and Krista. They were the center of her world. Her loyalty was unwavering; she married one man and had only one job that she loved. She stood by her family for every season of life. She spent 47 years working in QA at Lamb Weston. She loved giving treats to the sweet people that would do her runs up and down the stairs towards the end, a testament of her dedication and work ethic. Even through life’s challenges, she remained kind, forgiving, and loyal to those she loved.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially over a good meal, and a game of pinocle and dominoes. She found peace, joy and enjoyment in crochet, crossword puzzles, listening to Neil Diamond, and watching ice skating while making goulash for her family.

She is survived by her two sisters, Nada and Yvette; her granddaughters, Dezarai (Randy) Svancara and Krista (Alex) Mauch; and their children, Teresa’s great grandchildren, three boys, Nykolaus (18), Treyson (10), and Brayzen Ozias Sydney (6 months); and three girls, Lilley (17), Vidaliya (9), and Addison (6). She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Trena.

Nothing made her happier than having her great grandchildren around her all the time. She finally had a big little family all her own. She will be remembered for her hugs, loving touch, kind conversation and for her silly jokes.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Rozella and Kenneth; her brother Dean; sisters, Nioma, Shirley, and Nola Rae; her son, Sydney; and Sydney’s father, and her only husband, Doug Mauch.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Road, Chubbuck, ID. A viewing will be held prior beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Falls View Cemetery, 2938 McKinley Road, American Falls, ID.
