Therese "Terri" Colvill, 74, of Chubbuck, Idaho, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2025, at the hospital surrounded by her family. Terri was born on March 3, 1951, in Granite Falls, Minnesota to James and Kathryn Hansen.
Terri graduated from Granite Falls High School and went on to study at Saint Paul Area Technical Vocational Institute, where she earned her certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. Her dedication to healthcare led her to become a registered Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Throughout her career, she served with professionalism and compassion, working in both Minnesota and North Dakota before settling in Pocatello, Idaho. It was there she met the love of her life, George, and they were married in 1997. Terri devoted many years to Bannock Regional Medical Center and later Portneuf Medical Center, retiring in 2012 after a long and meaningful career in medical science.
Terri was a gentle, kind and supportive mother. Her compassion and guidance were the foundation of her family. She had an unwavering loyalty to both friends and family.
Terri enjoyed meeting new people and quickly established new friendships. After her retirement, she established a routine of having morning coffee with friends and enjoyed going out for breakfast on weekends with her son, DJ. She was a football fanatic, following the Minnesota Vikings and the Alabama Crimson Tide games throughout the football season.
Terri is survived by her loving husband George; her children: Eric Anderson (Angie), daughter-in-law, Mindi Anderson, DJ Lilienthal, Beth (Michael) Christensen, and Rachel Colvill; siblings Michelle Tesch and Tim Hansen, grandchildren Andre (Lacee) Lopez, Kylie (Neil) Jewell, Dylan Jester, Mercedes Lilienthal, Jett Anderson, Alexis Jester, Aiden Christensen, and Jordan Christensen; and great-grandchildren Audrey Jewell and Henry Zubal.
