Thomas Karl Williams

Thomas “Tom” Karl Williams, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 13, 2026, at his home in Chubbuck, Idaho.

Tom was born on March 27, 1942, to Troy Kohlman and Alta Marie Weinkauf Williams in Mishawaka, Indiana. He graduated from Mishawaka High School. Following graduation, Tom joined the United States Air Force and honorably served his country. Tom went on to work for the Mishawaka Fire Department and eventually retired from Idaho State Police.

Tom married the love of his life, Sharon Ann Crain, on November 27, 1965, in Mountain Home, Idaho.

When Tom wasn’t working, he enjoyed being outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, rodeo and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Marie Williams; sisters Linda Pickard, Therese Williams, and Cindy Ward; and brothers Jim Williams and Joe Williams.

Tom is survived by his sweetheart, Sharon, of Chubbuck, Idaho; son Tom Jr (Annie) of Inkom, Idaho; daughter Glenda of Blackfoot, Idaho; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and siblings Diane Moran of Berwyn, Pennsylvania, David Williams of South Bend, Indiana, and Mike Williams of Mishawaka, Indiana.
