Trina Wollen,70, passed away unexpectedly at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho on May 15, 2025.

Trina was born on January 9, 1955 in Logan, Utah to Earl and Velda Egan. She was the oldest of seven children and grew up in Richmond, Utah. After graduating from Skyline High School in Logan, Utah she attended the LDS business college in Salt Lake City, Utah. There she met on a blind date John Wollen who she told her roommates to leave him alone; he is mine. Trina married John Wollen, who was the love of her life on June 21, 1974 and then later sealed in the Logan, Utah Temple on June 21, 1975.

Trina was very talented and had many interests. Some of her interests were dancing, bowling, swimming, playing the piano, reading, volleyball, softball, computer games, plastic canvas, being with kids, cross stitching, crocheting, scrap booking, sewing, and quilting with her sisters. Her main goal in life was to get married in the temple and being a mother. Her passion was spending time with the family and supporting them in all of their activities. She raised her family in Pocatello, Idaho.

Trina is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, John: her four children, Jennifer (Dana), Melanie (Andy), Jason (Jessica), and Johnathan, 10 grand-kids: Sabrina Jacobi (Tristan), Dalton Capell, Payton Garbett (Kamri), Tori Garbett, Braden Wollen, Mason Gibson, Charles Gibson, Kennidi Wollen, Johnathan Wollen and Lucas Wollen, and 2 great grand-kids: Asher and Aliya Jacobi.

She is also survived by her 4 sisters: Terry and (Lynn) Maughan, Teresa and (Stewart) Nielsen, Tess and (Paul) Hulet, Trudy and (Brad) Carlson, and1 brother, Darrell and (Annette) Egan), 3 step sisters, Joan and (Mike) Fullmer, Peggy and (Richard) Elwood, Kathryn and (Mike) Clark and 2 step brothers Ken and (Shondra) Thornley, and Randal and (Charlotte) Thornley.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina (who was stillborn), brother Dan Egan, parents, Earl and Velda Egan (Robert Thornley), Delbert and Mary Duce, and Delbert and Effie Egan.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. Chubbuck, ID. Services will be on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11 am at the LDS church, 2000 S. Fairway Dr. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing prior from 10-10:45 am.

Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
