It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Twila Satchwell, who has been called to her heavenly home. She was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this mortal life on May 7, 2026, at the age of 93. Twila was born on June 18, 1932 in Burley Idaho, where she spent her childhood surrounded by the love of her family including eleven brothers and sisters and friends.

Throughout her life, Twila embodied warmth, compassion, and unyielding strength. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, serving as a nurturing mother to her six children: Tressa (Mike), Randy (Kristine), Tony (Susan), Terry (Diane), Renee (Jay), Chris (April). Her posterity grew to include 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Each moment spent with her children was a treasure, filled with love, laughter, and invaluable life lessons. Twila was not only a mother; she was a confidante, a teacher, and a guiding light, always ready to lend a listening ear or provide a comforting hug.

Her love extended beyond her family. Twila was known in her church for her kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She served in multiple position in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Including two missions and various leadership positions. She enjoyed a strong relationship with the Lord and was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. Her home was a gathering place filled with the Spirit of the Lord. She loved cooking for her family, aroma of home-cooked meals and the echoes of laughter were common. She loved to can and taught many these skills.

She had an eye for arts and crafts. She could often be found behind the sewing machine making outfits or casting and painting porcelain dolls.

Twila was preceded in death by her loving husband, William (Bill) Satchwell who provided her with love and support throughout their 62 years of marriage.
