Our Dad was a free spirit and very stubborn. He never asked for anything. When offered he would never accept any type of handout. He didn’t want to be a bother or burden to his children or anyone for that matter. Dad was a great storyteller and had so many interesting stories.
Dad lived with his oldest daughter the last year and a half of his life. She made sure he was taken care of. She made sure he was fed, safe, went to his medial appointments. For this we are all grateful for.
Dad loved to travel from Minnesota to Colorado to Arizona to Idaho. He didn’t like being in one place for too long.
Our Dad never complained and always made do with what he had, never asking for anything, more or less. He loved and was proud of all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, even though he didn’t get to see them a lot.
He will be cremated and his ashes divided among his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, to be spread around all his favorite places.
