William Benjamin Wilson III, 70, passed away, July 9, 2025 at Portneuf Medical Center.
Willie was born on November 8, 1954 in Macon, Georgia to Willian Benjamin Wilson Jr. and Ruby Joyce Newsome Wilson. He graduated from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, GA and attended UGA for one year before serving his country in the United States Navy for 27 years, retiring as CWO4.
Willie married Martha Wilson. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA, where he enjoyed teaching adult Sunday School.
Willie enjoyed golfing, woodworking, farming, building, and yardwork. He was always one to keep busy.

Willie is survived by his wife, Martha Wilson of American Falls, ID; daughters, Misty (James) Lamborn of American Falls, ID and Alicia Wilson of Lacey, WA; granddaughters, Ashley Barquest and Janelle Barquest of Everett, WA; great- grandchildren, Mallory Barquest and Carter Barquest of Everett, WA; adopted son and daughter-in-law, Dale (Chelsea) Etter of Monroe, WA; and adopted great-grandchildren, Harper and Hudson Etter of Monroe, WA.
He is also survived by his sister, Billie Ann (Greg) Canady of Dudley, GA; and brothers, John Wilson and David (Judy) Wilson both of Warner Robins, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Wilson; and brother, Kenneth Wilson.
Interment services with military honors will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery-Blackfoot, 2651 Cromwell Lane, Blackfoot, ID 83221.
