Wilks Funeral Home
Our Professionals at Chubbuck & Pocatello

Brock & Laci Wilks
Owners
In 2008, Brock and Laci co-founded Wilks Funeral Homes, with the construction of our Chubbuck location. Their vision was rooted in a commitment to delivering unparalleled service to families navigating the profound loss of a loved one. It was their commitment to exceed expectations in funeral service.
Brock’s journey into funeral service began in 2002 when he toured a funeral home as part of a college course. This chance encounter ignited in him a passion for assisting families through difficult circumstances. Concurrently, Laci completed her education, graduating from Idaho State University’s Nursing Program the same year. Over the subsequent decade, she dedicated herself as an emergency room nurse, with a specialized designation in forensic nursing.
Together, Brock and Laci are proud parents to six children. They love spending time with their family camping in the mountains, taking road trips, or participating in their children’s activities.

Dan Adams
Funeral Director/COO
Dan started his funeral service career in 2014 at a funeral home in Texas. He graduated with his degree in Mortuary Science from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and served the families of North Texas for six years before moving to Idaho to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
Dan enjoyed a nineteen- year career in wireless telecom before coming to funeral service. Dan’s grandfather owned a funeral home in Arizona where he would spend the summers of his youth “helping”. Seeing how his grandfather cared for his community and served each family with compassion, planted the seeds that would eventually lead Dan to funeral service.
Dan and his wife Dee are blessed with two children and several grandchildren. Family gatherings and spoiling grandkids are Dan’s favorite pastimes. Dan looks forward to serving the families of southeast Idaho for many years to come.

Adam Foster
Funeral Director
Adam grew up in western Pennsylvania and developed an early interest in funeral service while job-shadowing at a local funeral home in high school. He studied mortuary science at Gannon University before graduating from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2007. After serving his apprenticeship and spending 13 years supporting families in Fairfax, Virginia, Adam relocated to Idaho in the fall of 2023, bringing his dedication and expertise to Wilks Funeral Homes.
Throughout his career, Adam has been dedicated to helping families navigate one of life’s most difficult moments with professionalism, empathy, and respect. His time serving diverse communities on the East Coast provided him with a strong foundation in all aspects of funeral service. This background reinforced his commitment to honoring each family’s unique traditions, values, and wishes—a commitment highlighted by his extensive work coordinating services for veterans at our Nation's most hallowed ground, Arlington National Cemetery.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Adam cherishes spending time with his wife, Samantha, and their daughter. He is an avid outdoorsman and an accomplished long-distance backpacker, having section-hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine over the course of three years to earn recognition as a 2,000-Miler. When time permits, you can find Adam and his family hiking, camping, and paddleboarding, or he may be found staying active with weightlifting, studying history, and visiting museums.

Levi Dockendorf
Funeral Director
Levi was born in Montana, but because his father served in the military, he grew up moving around the country and has called Virginia, Florida, California, North Carolina, Wyoming, Colorado, and now Idaho home. He graduated from high school in Colorado before joining the U.S. Army, where he served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. After his military service, Levi worked in a variety of careers, including construction, real estate, sales, and truck driving while raising his family. Through an unexpected series of life events, he discovered his calling in funeral service and graduated from Arapahoe Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science.
Levi has had the privilege of serving families in every aspect of funeral service throughout his career. He also served as a civilian mortuary specialist for the U.S. Army in Germany, where he helped lead teams tasked with the disinterment and identification of American service members who had been missing since World War II. Those experiences reinforced his deep respect for every life, every family, and the lasting importance of honoring those who came before us. For Levi, it has been one of life's greatest honors to walk with people from the deathbed to the graveside.
Outside of the funeral home, Levi finds peace in the outdoors. An avid backpacker and mountaineer, he has completed three internationally recognized long-distance hikes: the GR20 across Corsica, Scotland's West Highland Way, and the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada. He has also climbed every 14,000-foot peak in Colorado, along with Mount Whitney, the highest summit in the contiguous United States. Above all, Levi is most proud of being the father of two adult children and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the families of eastern Idaho with compassion, honesty, and respect.
