Kari May

Kari May is a trusted Funeral Planning Advisor at Wilks Funeral Homes, where she has been guiding families through important end-of-life decisions for over 15 years. Kent Higgins

Kent Higgins, a Pocatello native, has been a leading attorney at Merrill & Merrill since 2002, specializing in estate planning and probate law. He earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from Brigham Young University and contributed to the J. Reuben Clark Law School Journal of Legal Studies.


Licensed in Idaho and Utah, Kent practices before state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, multiple Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. He helps clients navigate wills, trusts, probate administration, and asset protection, ensuring their estates are legally sound and aligned with their wishes.


Kent has served as president of the Sixth District Bar Association, a state legislator, and city attorney for three Idaho cities. He is also active in civic organizations.
